Frontier's Customer Service
Some Frontier customers are not happy with Frontier's new messaging-based service for customer care. Joe Lorenz was recently on a flight from Michigan to Denver to celebrate New Year's. He said that he couldn't resolve an issue with his online check in through Frontier's messaging platform. He was unable to resolve the problem via email and had to contact an airport ticket agent.
The employee was unprofessional and dispassionate in her attempts to resolve the problem. He was rudely dismissed by the employee who said "I work the ticket counter, the gate".
He explained that he had many conversations and multiple employees to be able to check his luggage. He stated that he received a $25 refund from the airport for being able to get his luggage checked. But he is planning to switch airlines next time he travels.
Frontier's Baggage Policy
Make sure your carry-on is at least the right weight. Passengers who don’t comply with the guidelines can be charged up to $60 per bag.
It is important to note that some bundles don't allow for luggage. If you want to save the most, you should choose wisely.
Frontier isn’t as bad than some of its competitors despite the high number of fees. If you have a limited budget, Frontier's rewards program and low fares might be worth looking into. Frontier's baggage rules and cancellation policies must be read before you make a decision to fly with them.
